Our Types of Shutters
Choose from a range of different styles to match your window and the desired look you want to achieve.
Full Height
Covering the entire window, these shutters are the most popular.
Providing great privacy, light control and insulation, this type of shutter works brilliantly in most windows. A louvre spilt or mid rail can be included to add extra versatility, allowing the higher or lower louvres (the slats) to be controlled independently. This is great in situations where you want extra privacy whilst still allowing plenty of light to enter the room.
Café Style
Without covering the full height, this style of shutter keeps the upper window free, whilst still giving privacy and light control lower down.
A classic look and perfect if that extra bit of privacy is what you are looking for. An added bonus is that these shutters come in cheaper due to the smaller amount of materials used.
Tier-on-Tier
A separate set of panels at the top to the bottom, which can be opened and operated independently, making them extremely flexible.
Have the top panels or just louvres open, with the lower ones closed for enhanced privacy. Even more light control is given by the greater adjustment options within the two sets of panels. A great option for bedrooms and bathrooms, whilst also looking fabulous in bay windows.
Tracked Shutters
Perfect in front of very large windows or doors, these shutters slide along a track at the top and bottom, allowing full access when pulled back.
These also allow the option of using like a standard shutter or having the window clear, as they concertina neatly to the sides. They let maximum light in when fully opened and make an excellent, much neater alternative to blinds or curtains.
Additional Options
We’ll help you in deciding which shutters will work best for you, depending on a host of factors, such as the style of your property; type of window; budget and personal taste. Completing your shutters, you will also have a few more options to consider, but we can happily guide you with these:
